This tropical wild flower honey is collected by my bees from the Kalapana rainforest coastline on the south-east side of the Big Island. It's a multi-source honey containing the sweet nectar and pollen from an abundance of exotic jungle flowers and trees, all within three miles of the Apiary. Think mango, ginger, passion fruit, hibiscus, fragrant orchids, quava and plumeria to name a few! It’s my bee’s special blend.💛
The honey ranges from mildly sweet to very sweet, with an almost butterscotch flavor and a rich floral aroma.
I love a spoonful of Jungle Blossom stirred into my morning cup of chai or coffee, swirled into my bowl of oatmeal or drizzled over fruit salad. It’s also the honey you need to make your honey mustard salad dressing: so ono!
